American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

Miami is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Miami is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Excellent find in Brickell I read reviews and picked the cheese and ham and cinnamon bun which were excellent. The service was great too!

I truly recommend trying the cinnamon roll — I think it was one of the best I’ve ever eaten! I also tried and really enjoyed the traditional milhojas and the Americano. The attendant was very kind and friendly, and the whole experience was great. I’d love to come back to try the cachito and the pan dulce 🤩

I truly hope you never change. You can see how much effort and love the whole team puts into this place. The menu is amazing, the coffee is perfect, and the desserts are absolutely delicious. You are the best in Miami, I know this for sure because I’ve been to many places, and this one stands out. I definitely recommend it to everyone!

Had to run a few errands this morning, and the person I was supposed to meet said they’d be late, so I figured I’d grab a cup of coffee at McDonald’s… well, that didn’t happen. Instead, I stumbled across this little spot called Galipan Bakehouse tucked away in a strip mall in Brickell. Let me tell you — probably the best cinnamon roll I’ve ever had in my life. Absolutely unbelievable. It had everything you want in a cinnamon roll. They warmed it up, and I thought for sure it was going to be overheated, but it was perfectly warm. Soft, creamy, delicious… just perfection. What an unexpected find!
